In response to this need, Herald Media Group, the publisher of Herald Economy and The Korea Herald, established the “2026 Korea’s Most Respected Companies, Institutions, Leaders & Consumers’ Favorite Brand Awards” to evaluate and identify the unique corporate cultures and competitive strengths of outstanding and promising companies, brands, institutions, and individuals in Korea, while providing consumers with reliable standards for evaluation.
The awards were created to discover and promote respected companies, institutions, and leaders, as well as promising and outstanding companies and brands that have earned strong recognition and preference from consumers, both domestically and internationally.
Award recipients were selected after approximately two months of comprehensive evaluation, including reviews of institutional databases, recommendations from industry experts, and rigorous assessments by a judging committee. The final winners were companies, individuals, and brands that demonstrated high levels of consumer trust, positive reputation, and respect from the public.
